Summary:
The latest crime scene turns personal for Cindy.

I know, I know... I've been remarkably horrible about updating this fic. I'm soooo sorry! But lack of time and lack of a muse have gotten in the way.

Here are the previous parts: Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3

And without further ado...

About last night... )

Another A/N: Okay, so clearly, I fail at the whole updating-in-a-timely-manner kind of thing. So, for any of you who care, I’m going to offer two options for how I should move this forward. A) I can keep just posting chapters when I finish them, or B) I can wait until I finish the whole thing, and then post the remaining parts in quick succession (I still don’t know exactly where I’m going with this, but it’ll be at least another two parts).

So if you have an opinion about it, let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading! :)

After this week, we're going on a bit of a hiatus, but don't worry, new episodes will be back at the end of the month, so make sure you stick with us! In the meantime, keep an eye out for some fun challenges to get everyone involved in the Virtual Season! More details will follow, after episode 4 airs.

Ok, I know that I've been mentioning this kind of a lot lately, and I know that a bunch of you probably don't care (but you SHOULD), but tonight, at 8pm EST, is the premiere of the Women's Murder Club Virtual Season 2!!! (at [info]wmc_vs )

*bounces around in excitement*

*stops to cough and sneeze because I'm sick and bouncing probably isn't too good for me*

The first episode, "Begin Again," was written by the AMAZING [info]inspectorboxer , and it's a really fantastic opener to the season!

And look at the pretty poster, made by the equally AMAZING [info]grumpybear1031 ! *points below the cut*

pretty! )

Seriously, though...I know you all love femslash, and kickass women, and in that case, you should TOTALLY check this whole thing out! It helps if you've seen Season 1, of course, since we do make reference to a bunch of events from official canon, but even if you haven't, you'll be able to appreciate it regardless. And no matter which pairing is your favorite (Lindsay/Cindy, Jill/Cindy, Lindsay/Jill...hell, even Lindsay/Heather!), I promise that there are elements to all of them in these upcoming episodes! Plus, we made a definite effort of bringing back those club dynamics that we all loved from the first part of last season. And just think about it...over the course of the 13-episode season (final episode airs in early February), we're talking about 390 to 650 pages of fic, here! That's a pretty damn impressive and awesome prospect, you have to admit.

And yeah, if you want to know why I haven't been posting any fics in a while? It's because, lately, I've been spending almost every free minute working on my episode.

So seriously. Tonight. Go. Join/watch the group. Read. Be happy. :)

*bounces around in excitement again*

Less than two weeks until the "premiere" of WMC Virtual Season 2! Woohoo! We have so many awesome things planned for this season, and we've even started talking about Season 3. The whole thing's going to be amazing, I promise you.

So, if you haven't already, go check out [info]wmc_vs!

I know that a bunch of my flist knows about this already, or even is directly involved, but for those of you who aren’t aware, I thought I’d ramble a bit about the Women’s Murder Club Virtual Season. That’s right, folks... Annoyed that WMC got cancelled? Well, fear not, because there’s a lovely group of people working to bring a whole second season to a computer screen near you!

And... *drum roll, please* I’m writing an episode!

The first episode has already been written, and I can officially say that it is AWESOME! Yeah, be jealous that I’ve read it already ;)

So yeah, I’m super excited! I just need to get over my bit of an inferiority complex regarding all the amazing people who are writing for the season. This’ll definitely be the most plot-driven story I’ve attempted, so should be interesting (and fun!) to work on.

So go check it out at [info]wmc_vs! The first of thirteen episodes “airs” on September 12!

With that in mind, here’s my current to-do list:

- Write a minimum of 30 pages for my Virtual Season episode
- Move forward on my Popular fanfic100 series
- Finish the next part of Brick Walls
- Write that prequel to Bonus Points
- Maybe write a sequel to Dance With Me
- Work through all the rest of those prompts I have waiting for me
- Maybe start on that random idea for a crack!pairing that I came up with
- Oh yeah, and figure out what the hell to do with Witness... *feels bad for starting a story and then promptly going nowhere with it*
- Plus, you know, there’s that actual job that I’m getting paid to do on a daily basis.

Hmmm...that list looks dauntingly long. GAH, I’m insane.

In other news...people are awesome! It was my birthday yesterday, and in addition to hearing from/seeing a lot of my RL friends, I heard from a lot of you lovely LJ people! I totally wasn’t expecting anyone to say anything, but a bunch of people did, so you all rock! :)

Ok, I’m done rambling for now. Time to tackle that to-do list!

So, I've been busy writing for IDF, but just wanted to share this vid (it was made a while ago, but I just found it today). I pretty much adore everything I've seen by the creator of this video, so you should check out her other stuff on youtube, but I decided to post this one, since WMC is the latest fandom I've gotten into. :)

So, in honor of the International Day of Femslash on July 19, I want to have a whole bunch of fics to post, and I thought that maybe taking some prompts would help get my muse in gear!

To request a fic, give me a pairing, and some kind of actual prompt (i.e., NOT just the pairing). The prompt can be a situation, a lyric (if it’s a lyric, it’d be awesome if you also tell me what song it’s from), a single word...whatever.

Obviously, since we’re talking about the Int. Day of Femslash, those are the kinds of pairings I’m most interested in/comfortable with. Still, if you really want a het or m/m slash pairing, I’ll see what I can do.

Fandoms/Pairings I’ve written before:

Popular -- Sam/Brooke
Gossip Girl -- Blair/Serena
Sarah Connor Chronicles -- Sarah/Cameron
Women’s Murder Club -- Jill/Cindy
Lost -- Juliet/Kate

Other fandoms/pairings (I’m not quite as comfortable with all of these, but I’d be willing to give them a try):

WMC -- any combo of Jill/Cindy/Lindsay (or all three)
Gossip Girl -- I’m not a big fan of the canon pairings, but anything else is fair game, I guess
Grey’s Anatomy -- Izzie/Addison; maybe Callie/Hahn
Imagine Me & You -- Luce/Rachel
Harry Potter -- Ginny/Hermione
DEBS -- Amy/Lucy
House, MD -- not totally familiar with this fandom, but any combo of Thirteen/Cameron/Cuddy

No promises in terms of fic length...I’ll just have to see where the prompt takes me.

I’ll post what I can on July 19, but I’ll hang on to any prompts I get, and will try to get to them eventually. :)
